Debra A. Graham, M.D.
Dr. Graham received her M.D. degree from University of California, Davis, in 1992. She completed her residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Washington, Seattle, in 1996 and completed her subspecialty fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma in 1997.
Dr. Graham joined Bay Eye Clinic in 1997, expanding the scope of surgeries available in Oregon’s Bay Area to include corneal transplantation and related services. Dr. Graham is the only fellowship-trained corneal specialist in Coos and Curry Counties. In addition to corneal transplants and comprehensive ophthalmology, she also offers an array of refractive surgeries.
Laser refractive surgery techniques include Laser-Assisted In-situ Keratomileusis (LASIK) and PhotoRefractive Keratectomy (PRK).
Dr. Graham herself is a beneficiary of LASIK vision correction. Refractive services for intraocular surgery include multi-focal implant lenses and Refractive Lens Exchange.
Dr. Graham is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She received many honors and awards during her training. She conducted laboratory research in lens proteins, corneal nerves, and intraocular infections, as well as clinical surgical outcomes. Her research resulted in multiple article publications and she has given numerous presentations on various topics in ophthalmology.
She and her husband Steven live in North Bend. They have one grown son and look forward to being grandparents sometime in the future.
